I am so excited to be serving as the principal of Beaufort Elementary School for the upcoming school year. I am fortunate to already know the majority of you since I served as one of our assistant principals last year.

This year will be my 19th year in education, and my 9th year in administration for Beaufort County School District. I have worked as an assistant principal at both an early childhood center and at elementary schools. Prior to becoming an administrator, I taught both 4th and 5th grades.

I am the proud mom to two boys who are currently in middle school, and so I know how crazy family lives and schedules can be!

I am looking forward to maximizing our students’ potential here at Beaufort Elementary School and building a culture of safety and trust . Together, I know we can do great things!

Dear Students, Families, and Community Members,

I am looking forward to continuing to serve as Assistant Principal of Beaufort Elementary.  Originally from Florida, I joined Beaufort County School district in 2014 and have served the school communities of Lady’s Island Elementary, Port Royal Elementary, Mossy Oaks Elementary, and Coosa Elementary. I can wholeheartedly say that each school has helped in my growth as an educator and instructional leader. I have no doubt that my tenure at Beaufort Elementary will leave an impactful stamp on my educational path.

With over 19 years of experience in education—as a teacher, instructional coach, and now administrator—I bring a deep commitment to supporting student success in every way possible. I believe that we need to empower those around us with the knowledge to make informed decisions which will result in actions that are not only beneficial for themselves but also those around them. I’m passionate about building strong relationships with students, families, and staff, and I strive every day to create a school environment where all stakeholders feel seen, heard, and valued.

I have high hopes for us all as we enter the upcoming school year and look forward to partnering with you to make this school year a successful one for every student.
