Teaching for over 25 years, I am still happy to be in the classroom with my students. I was born in the state of Ohio however my family moved to Pennsylvania where I then graduated from high school. After graduation, I returned to Ohio to attend college at Miami University. I was fortunate to teach in both Ohio and Pennsylvania. In 1991, my husband and I moved to South Carolina. Since moving to the south, I have taught in Beaufort County Schools and Beaufort Academy. In 2013, I received my Masters in Science Education from the University of South Carolina. I am looking forward to learning with my students in the AMES academy again this year.
